Owner and Head Clinician Dr. Linda Robinette

June of 2010 will mark 40 years since Dr Robinette graduated from the WSU College of Veterinary Medicine. So many changes have occurred in veterinary medicine in those 40 years, it is amazing! Gas anesthesia, IV catheters, EKG monitors, MRI's, new antibiotics, new blood testing machines, newer and safer treatments for fleas, ticks, and internal parasites. But perhaps the most important growth is the understanding of the human-animal bond and how much our animals enrich our lives. "I still love doing surgery. Nothing like a nice cat spay to make me happy. Catching a malignant cancer early and completely removing it is very gratifying. Helping our clients enjoy their cats and dogs for a long and healthy life is very rewarding!"

Dr. M. Francesca Corcoran

Dr. Corcoran has been providing compassionate care to animals for over twenty years. She came to Alpine Animal Hospital fresh from WSU veterinary school in 1984 and has been practicing small animal medicine ever since. When she is not working, she enjoys training for triathlons on the Palouse hills and spending time with her four wonderful children. Gandalf the Gray (a gray tabby cat), Miss Matilda Meow (a tortoiseshell cat), and LeRoy Browndog (an almost too smart pound puppy) complete her family.

Dr. Ashley Nichols

Dr. Nichols graduated from the WSU-CVM in 2007, and completed a one-year internship at the WSU Teaching Hospital in June 2008. Originally from the Seattle area, Dr. Nichols and her husband fell in love with the Palouse and are now permanent residents with their 2 dogs, 2 cats, pet rat, and semi-aquatic turtle. She and her husband welcomed their first child in August 2009. In their spare time they enjoy attending car shows with their unique 1958 BMW Isetta.

With 4+ years experience in veterinary medicine her love for animals is evident. Her other interests include bowling, which she has done since the age of 8, and quilting which is her newest adventure. There are also three very important men in her live……Pudge, Pepperoni and Petrie, her three Dachshunds. They are known as her babies around the office and babies they are.

After graduating in May 2009 with a Bachelors degree in Zoology and Spanish, she got married to Dan and has since started a family with a very cute boxer-shepard puppy named Tesla and three ridiculous salamanders- Lexis, Willy, and Dieter.

Receptionist Carrie

Carrie has been a member of the Alpine team since 2001. During her time here, she has had two lovely children (a daughter and son), bought a house, and has settled with her husband into a rather peaceful life of the Palouse. Recently she returned to school and hopes to graduate as a RN where she can provide loving care to human patients. In their spare time, Carrie and her family like to take their 2 German shepherds on long walks in the country.

Receptionist Cassandra

Cassandra moved from Michigan to Washington in July ’08 to pursue a graduate degree in Zoology. She has prior experience working with cats and dogs through vet clinics and the humane society, as well as wildlife like raccoons, deer, porcupines, song birds, and birds of prey. Her household includes many fish, axolotls, a bearded dragon, and too many cats to sanely mention!!! Caring for our boarding felines is one of her favorite responsibilities and she absolutely loves it. When you leave your cat with us be at ease since she pets, brushes, and pours out lots of love on them.
